Screening and diagnosis, with complete confidence
Mammography can detect breast changes early, even before any symptoms appear.
It is available exclusively at our Côte-des-Neiges clinic, with or without an appointment, depending on the clinical context.
The clinic offers a screening (as part of the PQDCS) and diagnostic service.

Contraindications
Having breast implants does not prevent you from having the exam. Just let the technologist know beforehand.
What to Expect During the Exam
Before the exam, the patient meets with a technologist to complete a brief questionnaire and review their family history. The imaging is performed standing, with gentle breast compression to obtain clear images. In some cases, additional imaging may be needed, which can slightly extend the exam or require a follow-up (e.g., spot compression).
