Dr. David Tobaly - Radiologist
Medical Director and Co-owner of RadX Clinics
Dr. David Tobaly is a radiologist based in Montreal and the Medical Director of RadX clinics. Trained in both France and Canada, he has developed an extensive academic and clinical background at leading university hospital centers. He has completed several specialized trainings and fellowships in Canada, including at CHUM and MUHC, with particular expertise in diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal imaging. Certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, he holds a full license to practice in Quebec.
This international training has allowed him to build a strong expertise in diagnostic and interventional radiology while maintaining a rigorous clinical approach focused on excellence in patient care.
Dr. Tobaly divides his time between hospital practice at St. Mary’s Hospital and serving as Medical Director of RadX clinics, where he oversees medical activities and ensures the delivery of modern, accessible, and patient-centered radiology. His commitment extends to optimizing the patient journey and fostering close communication with referring physicians.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Tobaly is actively involved in research and teaching. He was awarded a fellowship from the European Society of Radiology in 2020 for his work in radiomics. He has presented his research at international conferences, including an oral presentation at RSNA, and is the author of scientific publications in respected journals such as Muscle and Nerve, Neuromuscular Disorders, and Cancers. His research primarily focuses on advanced muscle imaging, neuromuscular pathologies, and oncologic abdominal imaging.
